CHQ, DADA GHOSH BHAVAN
NEW DELHI

Dear Comrade,

Sub; Payment of fixed transport Allowance.

With reference to the above, it is submitted following for your kind perusal.
As per the orders on the above subject it is stated that TA will not be admissible for those who are leave/deputation for more than 30days in the officials head quarters.  This rule was formed during 5th CPC.   As per 5th CPC, this TA was not admissible for the SPMs provided with post-attached quarters.
In the 6th a slight modification was made in these orders. All the SPMs who are in post-attached quarters were also made eligible for this TA.  Now there are more number of SPM posts are being vacant in the divisions due to shortage of staff.  The officials who are on deputation in those offices for long term ie. more than 30 days, and also the officials who are opted for Rule 38 transfer and on deputation from their parent divisions to the new divisions,  are being deprived of TA on the basis of above rule.  Kindly look into the matter and brought the matter to the notice of concerned so that necessary clarification may kindly be issued in the interest of the staff.

            Kindly do the needful.

A kind line in reply highly solicited.

            Thanking you,

                                                                                            Yours faithfully,

                                                                                          (G.RAGHAVENDRA)
